An Chy Coth ('The Old House' in Cornish) is a recently renovated 17th century Grade 2 listed (non-smoking) house in the centre of the fishing village of Flushing, situated near the waterfront on Falmouth Harbour. Local pubs which serve meals and a restaurant on the village quay are within walking distance.
There are two attractive, well furnished bedrooms (double room with king size bed and single room with additional pull-out bed suitable for children), both with en suite showers, White Company towels and Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. Bedrooms are reached by stairs on the upper floor of the house, accessed directly from the front entrance and separate from the rest of the house, ensuring privacy. Tea & coffee making facilities are provided with organic Fairtrade products and Cornish spring water. Breakfast is served in the large family kitchen/dining room with bacon & free-range eggs from the local farm, or scrambled eggs with organic smoked salmon cooked on the Aga, along with fresh fruit and organic yogurt.
