Fire alarms and safe exits
Fire alarms are tested monthly. Properties have smoke and heat alarms and fire doors as required. Do not cover alarms, wedge fire doors open or obstruct escape routes. Report any fault promptly.
Gas and electrical safety
Applicable gas safety and electrical certificates are maintained for our properties. Ask us for the relevant certificate information and report any concern about an appliance, socket or wiring.
Reporting a repair
Report repairs to Cornwall Rooms through WhatsApp with the property, room and a description of the problem. Include a photo if it is safe to do so. For an immediate danger, leave the affected area and contact the appropriate emergency service; do not wait for a chat reply.
Avoiding rental scams
Check you are speaking to Cornwall Rooms through our official website and published contact details. View the room in person or by video, read the agreement and verify payment instructions before sending money. Never share passwords or verification codes.
